For butchers

Whole cows, already sold.

Meat Reins fills a cow with your neighbors' orders, cut by cut. When every package is spoken for, you get the whole order: the cut list, each buyer's box and a pickup day you choose. Buyers pay you at pickup.

  • Only full, pre-sold cows
  • You choose which cows to take

Who can join

In general, selling beef by the cut to the public needs a USDA inspected plant, or a state inspected one under your state's program. A custom exempt plant can only cut an animal for its owners, so it can't take a Meat Reins cow. We check your establishment number before we approve your shop. Check with your state's meat inspection program.
